We are hiring a Data Scientist to join our growing Engineering and Data team. You will be spearheading projects primarily to determine what data we collect and how, and which other sources we passively utilize to provide smart inventory recommendations to our customers and to improve our day to day marketplace operations.

Your background in mathematics, statistics, and business logic will directly impact the accuracy of our forecasting, striking a fine balance between reducing instances of excess inventory, and avoiding understocking situations. Help us solve critical problems related to the following areas: time-series analysis, demand forecasting, predictive modeling and machine learning, feature identification & pattern recognition, model segmentation & aggregation, constrained optimization.
